To further add weight to a smith machine, you can supplement it with this weight holder: These are sold individually and you press them directly into the weight pack and then hang 50 mm weight plates on this weight holder. If you are going to load really heavy, you can remove the sheet metal protection on the back of the weight pack and apply weight holders on both sides of the weight pack, then you also get a better balance.
